what a retarded take this is not art, it’s aesthetic communism. the average Everyman and Everywoman is mediocre and absolutely not worth aspiring to the glorification of mediocrity, weakness, and ugliness is an intentional demoralization campaign you are being trained to hate beauty. to reject excellence, and to see the heroic as oppressive and the mundane as sacred. a civilizational inversion and ritualistic humiliation art was once the spearhead of aspiration. we carved gods into marble and painted divinity into flesh. civilization was built by aspiring to an ideal, not to being mediocre and average this is the architecture of cultural decay. a people that celebrates the ordinary will never become extraordinary. this is anti-beauty. anti-heroism. anti-civilization. the same communist ethos underlies it: erase hierarchy, abolish standards, destroy the elite and elevate the ugly, mediocre, and broken soft totalitarianism wrapped in “representation.” we should not tolerate this. we should burn it out at the root with anyone championing for it a culture that forgets what beauty looks like will never again know what greatness feels like.

Blah blah blah. I prefer mundane and relatable Everyman and Everywoman statues being erected in our cities to statues depicting "heroic" figures or statues regurgitating stale and corny ("inspiring") themes.
