We are honored to welcome Linardo Martinčević, Advisor in the Governor’s Office and FinTech Coordinator at the Croatian National Bank, to #Cosmoverse25 Linardo chairs the CNB’s FinTech Working Group and leads the FinTech Innovation Hub - helping shape Croatia’s regulatory approach to digital innovation. He has represented the CNB in EU-level MiCA negotiations and has been a vocal advocate for transparent, innovation-driven oversight in emerging finance. At the European level, Linardo is a member of the Eurosystem’s High-Level Task Force on Central Bank Digital Currency, which guides the strategic direction of the #DigitalEuro initiative under the European Central Bank. In March 2024, he hosted a national forum to educate the public on the purpose of the digital euro and the broader role of CBDCs. He has also contributed to global regulatory dialogue, including participating in CBDC roundtables with the Bank of Japan and Japan’s Financial Services Agency during FIN/SUM 2023 in Tokyo. As the #ECB actively explores public blockchain infrastructure and stablecoin issuance for the digital euro, Linardo’s presence at Cosmoverse 2025 brings rare, timely insight from the heart of Europe’s monetary innovation.
