Five or so years ago my life changed when my Tesla stock ran up over 50x and I turned $30k into over $1.5m, and I moved most of it into Bitcoin in the low teens. I didn't really value it or think much of it, I kept making riskier and riskier bets to build it higher, and then it all came crashing down last summer when I lost it all. This time around will be very different. I have a plan, milestones, and am going to be ready to sail off into the sunset when my investments truly pay off. More time with my family, less time doing busywork for clients, and only working with people I actually want to. Sure, I will keep 5-10% of my port for my degenerate activity, but with much more clear sets of rules. After my liquidations last summer my portfolio was down from a peak of 2.5M to under 300k all in. I'm back over 800k now, even with making way too many mistakes along the way. Sitting today with a small number of bags, all packed to the limit, between $SPLAT, $MEME, $SBET, and my NFT collection. We're in for an exciting close to 2025.
