I was NOT expecting this answer: "We literally called the FBI & said, “Hey, someone sent us this. I’m definitely not turning it on.” We instantly put it into a fire safe & said, “It’s either bugged or it’s a b*mb.” It’s like—who would do that? That’s a crazy thing." Adam Goldstein (@adamgoldstein13) CEO of Archer (@flyarcher) . . . Now, what’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened? The weirdest thing that’s ever happened… um, one time a politician—I won’t name the politician. It was a Democrat. A politician sent me a box. And in the box was a note that said, “Hey Adam, I’d like to meet you.” This is a very famous politician that you would know. It just said, “I’d like to meet you.” And there was a phone. It said, “Call me.” And I was like, “Who sends a phone in the mail?” I was like, “This is definitely a trap.” Obviously, that was the first thing I thought. So we literally called the FBI and said, “Hey, someone sent us this. I’m definitely not turning it on.” We instantly put it into a fire safe and said, “It’s either bugged or it’s a b*mb.” It’s like—who would do that? That’s a crazy thing. So we called the politician’s office. It actually was real. They sent a phone. And I said, “If you want to talk, we can just do a Zoom. That might be a better way to do it than sending a phone.” I even Googled the phone, and it was some weird brand—a Chinese brand I’d never seen before.
