i was ready to hate on this new open source model from @OpenAI but damn it’s good on paper it’s as good as o4 mini but somehow it feels as good as o3????? oh and it’s tiny af (120B & 20B) & quicker than o3???? not to mention it just decapitated those new chinese os models we were cheering about <6 days ago Kimi-K2 has 1 TRILLION parameters and this 120B model is running circles around it. crazy. haven’t run it locally yet but seeing people who have saying it navigates tools (web search, file data etc) seamlessly don’t forget it’s all private too! was doubtful but openai cooked here, huge win for open source community
