It’s also perfectly reasonable to note that Italian and Somali civilization are different, and one might offer more potential than the other. Italians produced Rome, the Church, the Renaissance, the discovery of the New World, and some of the finest architecture, painting, sculpture, literature, film, and cuisine in history. Somalis don’t have anything comparable, they are most famous for piracy. It’s obviously somewhat impolite to point this out, but we’re trying to get to the truth and, if people are insisting on a comparison to Italians, these are the plain facts. They don’t really make the case for unlimited Somali migration any stronger.
