Working on NFL model and realizing that a huge part of how much randomness there is in each sport is just a matter of sample size.

NBA: ~100-110 possessions per team NFL: ~65-70 offensive plays per team NHL: A little hard to define but ~30 shots and ~90 shifts per team, maybe ~45 offensive "possessions" per team game MLB: ~35-40 PA per team game This correlates strongly with how dominant the best teams are.
