I realized I wasn’t 100% pro-choice years ago, when I was horrified that a woman was considering aborting a wanted baby because of constant pregnancy nausea.

Bryan Caplan recently came out as moderately pro-life (my words, not his) and I enjoyed his essay in the way I always do when people say obvious things that are nevertheless certain to rock the boat
in retrospect, I think the woman in question was signaling how pro choice she was and wasn't actually being serious.
1- I had thought before this that I was in favor of abortion at any time for any reason, but this seemed like a time limited amount of suffering for a desired goal 2- I said nothing to the woman in question because she was just telling me how she felt and wasn't interested in my opinion 3- I cannot, and would not make abortion illegal in this case 4- the woman in question did not have an abortion, and is glad she did not
